Mary Marg Helgenberger was born in the year 1958. She first began her acting career in the 80s. Her role as Siobhan Ryan in a daytime soap-opera titled Ryan's Hope in 1982-1986 was what attracted the attention by the media. She is best known for her role as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) and then the follow-up TV movie Immortality (2015). Vegas is the sequel and she has reprised this part from 2022. Helgenberger is also known for playing K.C. Koloski as K.C. Koloski in the ABC series China Beach (1988-91) which earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series. The show also featured her in TV Series Under the Dome & Intelligence, the Films Species (1995), Species II (2000) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She's the oldest child. McCain completed her studies at Phoenix Country Day School. She was also a student at Xavier College Preparatory a Catholic girl's private school. In 2007, McCain graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the field of Art History at Columbia University. In 2017, she was a co-host of the daytime show The View, which she held the show from 2021 to 2021. As a result of her performance, she earned the honor of four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain was also a Daily Mail journalist after her three-year stint with The View. McCain also published four other books which include America You Sexy Bitch, A Love Letter To Freedom, and Bad Republican.
